Today is review day!

Hello 1s24, I was absent from school today (18th apr) cuz I fell sick. So I got bored and decided to write stuff for the blog.

I shall write a review on one of the most likeable alternative rock artists of the music world today.

Wonder who I'm talking about? Here's a hint: This band, with that awesome female vocalist, will be performing at the 2008 Vans Warped Tour. (July 1 - July 6)

Yes music-lovers! I'm talking about the band Paramore! (pronounced "Par-a-more")

------------------------------

A picture of the album which shot the band to mainstream success, 'Riot!'.

------------------------------

Details
Band Line-up: Hayley Williams (vocalist/keyboardist), Josh Farro (guitarist), Zac Farro (drummer), Jeremy Davis (bassist).

Genre: Alternative Rock / Power-Pop / Pop-Rock / Pop-Punk / Emo?? (nah)

Review
The album 'Riot!', as the name suggests, is like a sudden outburst of uncontrolled emotions. Profound and powerful, Paramore took the music world by storm with the release of this album, which features their hit single 'Misery Business'. To those who've never heard of them but enjoy pop/rock music, I greatly recommend them to you! But to those who appeal more to slower pop songs and do not like upbeat stuff, sorry guys, this might not be for you.

Would I listen to this album as a whole?
Yes! I wouldn't even mind listening to it over-and-over again.

For more details or if you want their songs, feel free to contact me anytime!

P.S. Please give me feedback on my reviews, tell me if they're just nice/too lengthy/too short etc. Also, if anyone's interested in learning the guitar, feel free to contact me too. Free lessons!

P.P.S. Don't drink chrysanthemum green tea. It's disgusting.

SR Olympics Stall

hello all,

we have a problem. we need people to help jinting out with the stall during the SR olympics. doesnt matter if you're participating in games or not... it would be great if yall can help out when you dont have games on, cause it's a class effort. you not only get cip hours, you also get money for yor donation card which will be distributed on that day.

one more problem. we need to decide on what we want to sell on that day. please vote in the poll below. if you have other suggestions, post on the tagboard, and i'll add it to the poll. remember the school wants us to sell healthy food, so if you think the choices below arent healthy, then tell us too lol..

okay people dont stress! jiayou! bye!

LOVE!
Briana

Anyway! just to add on, you guys can vote up to 3 choices but please vote once will do. The poll will be tabulated on sunday night! thanks guys! -Max
